Isuzu UTE Australia Cultivates First Class of Master Technicians

Isuzu UTE Australia (IUA) has announced its first cohort of Master Technicians, marking a significant milestone for the brand’s commitment to customer service and technical expertise. Seven technicians from dealerships nationwide have achieved this prestigious qualification through IUA’s in-house ‘Technical Pathway Program.

Established in 2022, the program is available to Isuzu UTE Aftersales professionals and has already certified over 200 technicians within the IUA dealership network. The ‘IUA Master Technician’ is the highest level an IUA technician can achieve.

The inaugural class of Master Technicians includes:

  • Peter Carter (Blacklocks Isuzu UTE, Lavington, NSW)
  • Daniel Del Zoppo (Big River Isuzu UTE, Berri, SA)
  • Luke Hamilton (Gardner Isuzu UTE, Cannington, WA)
  • Benjamin Pearsall (Jackson Isuzu UTE, Launceston, TAS)
  • Joshua Pederson (Brisbane Isuzu UTE, Brisbane, QLD)
  • Glenn Punch (Southland Isuzu UTE, Cheltenham, VIC)
  • Mikael Tanzil (Gardner Isuzu UTE, Cannington, WA)

Each technician completed a rigorous multi-year program, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold-level professional benchmarks. The qualification recognizes advanced training and aptitude across diagnostic, mechanical, and specialist fields. According to Isuzu, these technicians will provide mentorship to others, raising the bar for service across the network.

The program demands dedication; each graduate completed at least nine three-day courses over three years to qualify for the assessment phase. Final examinations spanned two days, testing product knowledge and practical skills in simulated vehicle fault scenarios. Mr. Junta Matsui, Managing Director of IUA, praised the technicians’ dedication, professionalism, and passion, emphasizing their role in ensuring customer safety and satisfaction.
